I had a sweet friend pass away recently, and these words from Jesus have brought me great comfort:
“I am the resurrection and the life.
~ John 11:25-26
The one who believes in Me
WILL LIVE,
even though they die;
and whoever lives by believing in Me
will NEVER DIE.”
For those, like my friend Carolyn, who have a personal relationship with Jesus, death doesn’t get the last word.
Carolyn is more alive now than she ever was!
If you don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus — who is the Creator of all things and ‘very God of very God’ — please know that He knows you and loves you. And He wants you to get to know Him too.
Ask Him to open the eyes of your heart, and then start getting to know Him through the Bible, which is the Word of God. (Click here to start reading.)
